FAQs

Charter Schools are public schools that function under a charter. The charter allows schools to engage in innovative educational programs that meet high performance standards. Pennsylvania’s Charter School Law was enacted in 1997.

Due to the extended curriculum, students begin their day at 7:45 A.M. and are dismissed at approximately 3:30 P.M.; dismissal times are staggered for various grade levels. Extended Day Care runs until 6:00 P.M. every school day.

The school year begins in September and ends in June.

Onsite and offsite summer school programs are designated by each campus.
